Six dedicated local students were featured in short scenes from “Steel Magnolias” and “The Odd Couple” on Friday, July 19, at noon at WAJ Central School, under the artistic direction of Jim Starr. Funds for the performance were provided by the Windham Chapter.
Starr, a former teacher and drama advisor at WAJ, helped revive the locally famous Schoharie Creek Players. The performance included WAJ students and theater enthusiasts including Toraya Belanouane, Sophia Jaeger, Sarah Mattice, Lauren McGowan, Michael Leishear, and Julian Rojas.
